Is Your Home Water System Safe or Contaminated?
Think seriously about this question: Is your home water system safe or
contaminated? Most people honestly don't know; but they think it is. That's because they have
been told it is safe. Surprise, surprise.
Most of us tend to rest easy in the notion that our water is being kept safe by the local water
treatment facility, but what they are actually doing to your water leaves it anything but clean.
Let me explain a little bit about what the treatment facilities do to your water, and more
importantly what they are incapable of doing. When you finish reading this short article (expose'), ask the
question again: Your water -safe or not.
People often seem convinced that the method of filtration used by the treatment facilities
removes all of the contamination present in our water. The truth is that the system they are using barely
removes any contamination from your drinking water at all, and is mainly designed for removing silt and sediment
from your water. These filtering systems are horrifically outdated, and being municipal facilities there is
no money in the coffers for the overhaul they need.
Is Your home water system Safe or Contaminated?
The water flowing through your tap may contain any combination of the over 80,000 chemical agents
that we have allowed to seep into our groundwater system over the years. Studies have shown that in many
regions each glass of water that is drawn from an unfiltered tap contains anywhere from five to nine different
chemical agents in it, and many of these chemicals are carcinogens.
Chemicals & Organisims in Your Water?
The porous membrane filters that the treatment facilities use to filter your water are incapable
of trapping anything that is of the same molecular weight as, or is lighter than the water being filtered.
Since the chemicals in the water have become diluted over time, they easily slip through the filter and travel
directly to your home. Microscopic organisms not killed by the chlorine disinfection process pass right
through these filters as well.
If the chemical agents in the water are diluted is your home water system safe or
contaminated? Traces of an individual chemical agent do not generally pose too much of a threat, but as I
have already explained chemical agents tend to appear in your drinking water in groups. Whenever two or more
chemical agents come into contact with one another they feed off of each other’s energy, and become exponentially
stronger.
What You Need to Do to Protect Your Health
To assure that the water you are drinking is free of chemical and biological contaminants your
need to install a home water purification system. This system should feature an activated granular carbon
filter, multi media block, a sub micron filter, and an ion exchange. A system featuring these four filters
can either be mounted on top of the counter or under, whichever you think will mesh well with your kitchen
décor.
Is your home water system safe or contaminated?
I think you know the answer to that question: It probably is one or the other. But
the odds are that it most likely has 'things' in it that is not doing your health any good. You also know that
you have to do something about it before your family’s health begins to suffer.
